FAQ: Can I substitute a dinucleotide cap analog (e.g., ARCA) into this kit instead of using CleanCap^® Reagent AG?

No. The reaction conditions and NTP concentrations in this kit have been optimized for use with CleanCap Reagent AG. If ARCA-based capping is desired we recommend using the HiScribe T7 ARCA mRNA Kit (NEB #E2065) or the HiScribe T7 ARCA mRNA Kit with tailing (NEB #E2060).
