Isaac Meek:
NEB is the great enabler in genomics and genetics for scientists all around the world, and I think one of the things that we do particularly well is we are willing to work with others and we're willing to partner in ways that most companies are unable to do so. We're founder driven, privately held.

Danielle Freedman:
We're able to be more flexible and take more risks.

Isaac Meek:
For folks who have really interesting, ambitious, creative projects.

Danielle Freedman:
When I see one of my customers take a product that we developed for them and use it successfully, it's hard to put into words, but it's really rewarding how NEB can help fuel technologies and keep scientific discovery possible, and that's something that I love. The Customized Solutions Group is really there to provide the product in a custom format or a custom formulation to help support their workflows. We offer anything from custom packaging, plating, custom lyophilization.

John Pezza:
A larger volume of a standard catalytic product, different concentrations of enzymes.

Danielle Freedman:
And we have the ability to supply on a global level.

Isaac Meek:
They're able to leverage some of the amazing capabilities that we have here, including our GMP grade products and facility, which are really world-class. The thoughtfulness of the support that our sciences give to helping other sciences be successful, that's huge.

Danielle Freedman:
A lot of us have worked here a long time and have been able to build up a ton of knowledge and relationships with our coworkers. So when a customer comes to us with a problem, we know exactly where to go and how to assemble the right team very quickly, taking you from the inquiry all the way through to the finish line.

John Pezza:
We're scientists and scientists are curious. So we're all trying to learn what they're doing and how we can help them. What problems are they having that we might be able to solve? I can ask those questions in a way that I can learn from the incredibly smart people we already have here at NEB, but also from our awesome customers who are doing phenomenal things that we learn from every day. And we're always looking to have long-term relationships. While we're developing with the customer, they should really be thinking about not just what they're doing now, but also where they want to be in three, five years, so that we can build towards that together. Everyone really has the customer's best interest in mind, and that really expands into the culture here. That humility of really doing everything we can together no matter who you are at this company, so a customer has a positive experience. Everyone has that ultimate goal.

Isaac Meek:
NEB does really great science and takes really great care of its people and can really help enable the innovations of its partners. It's not just making the discovery and putting it out there, but it's reducing it to practice and supporting it.

Danielle Freedman:
If you work with a partner that also has your success in mind, that's a win-win situation.

John Pezza:
For us, it's not just about helping support our customers, but really support the scientific community. That's really our goal.
